Enable or disable Windows Defender

Microsoft Windows Defender is software that is intended to alert if spyware or any other software tries to install itself and change the settings on your Windows computer.

Click the Start button, choose All Programs and click Windows Defender.

In Administrator options, select or deselect the check box for Use Windows Defender, and then click Save.
